01Euro-Solutions
Compared to Western European standards, waste recycling in Hungary is still in its infancy. Many valuable secondary raw materials suitable for production – paper, glass, plastic and more – end up in landfills and incinerators. Indirectly, the root cause is that these materials have a very limited market, or none at all. Progress is slowest with plastics, and this is where our company wants to help.
We started our activities in Hungary in March 1999. The experience and professional and market knowledge of our partners across Europe, mainly in Western Europe, support our work on the domestic market. Our goal is to create a market that offers the best solution to everyone who comes into contact with plastic in some form – as waste or as raw material. We provide our partners with a full range of services, from consulting to export-import administration and transport organisation.
From 2021, in line with market needs, we also started trading bioplastics. This material has opened up a new, huge market for us.
A large part of Euro-Solutions’ revenue has always come from exports – especially in 2021, when both revenue and the share of exports grew.
We only work with verified partners, on both the supplier and the customer side. All payments are handled exclusively by bank transfer.
Our suppliers are mostly Hungarian companies working in plastic recycling. We have always aimed for long-term cooperation, so many of these relationships go back several years. They include multinational companies (Veolia, HUKE) as well as small businesses (Malom Bt., Pandan, Fe-Group Invest Zrt., Royal Plast Kft., Provi-Zoll Bt.). As the market keeps changing, new supplier relationships are formed all the time.
Our largest sales partner is the German Inter Recycling GmbH; we sell most of our exports to or through them across Europe. A relationship of more than two decades gives both professional and financial stability. We also have partners in Poland (Boryszew S.A. ELANA) and Italy (Mirex S.p.A.). We always aim to serve our customers at the highest quality, which is why our relationships are good and long-lasting.
Plastic recycling has become a key issue of our time, and demand for recyclable plastics keeps growing. Building on this demand, our company continues to grow.
Their arrival opened a new opportunity for us: we were the first in Hungary to work with them. Besides the raw material, we also distribute products made from bioplastics.
